The use of “teen” is far too obvious and conjures up thoughts of ignorance and unbridled pubescent emotions. The most unfortunate thing about this show is its title. Lesson #1: The Ever-Improving Narrativeįrom an outside perspective Teen Wolf sounds like cheesy teen drama with over-actors and under whelming plotlines. So pull a chair up and get ready for a little education…and by education I mean a 3 part lesson on why “Radio Silence” brought me out of my Ghost Rider Train Station coma to write something new. It’s been awhile since I’ve ranted wrote about Teen Wolf but instead of my usual review/recap I’ve decided to change it up a bit. Stiles asks, "There is got to be a way out of this place?" But Peter is pessimistic about their chances of getting out and replies, "If this is the Wild Hunt, there is no escape. You and I are doomed to ride this storm forever," as we see many Ghost Riders bringing more children to their hide-out. Peter insists, "We are already forgotten!" But a hopeful Stiles says, "Somebody is going to remember me. Rogue One: Ben Mendelsohn and Gareth Edwards on their on-set fanboy Darth Vader meltdownĪnother preview for the episode shows a discussion between Stiles and Peter about their disappearance. ![]() They are both abducted by the Ghost Riders and are currently being kept at an old train station. Peter asks, "How long have I been here?" Stiles tells him it's been three months. "I have been missing for 3 months and no-one came for me?" Peter asks. They erase you." Later Peter explains that Ghost Riders "ride the lightning, they are an unstoppable force and I promise you they don't make pit stops at train stations." Then Stiles explains, "That's what the Ghost Riders do. Previously, Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis spoke about Peter (played by Ian Bohen) at the New York Comic-con. He said, "When we realized this might be the last season, we wanted to make sure we brought back these relationships. We definitely wanted Peter Hale back to see the relationship between Peter and Malia and what other trouble Peter could get into. and we also have some great scenes between Peter and Stiles. I wanted to see again and Ian and Dylan have some great stuff this season so we'll see.“Radio Silence” starts off with Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) waking up in the train station where the Ghost Riders took him. He’s holding onto his car keys, the last thing he had in his hand when the Ghost Riders grabbed him. As soon as he gains consciousness, in an unknown place, he immediately starts investigating. Stiles is still himself – a detective in training. Stiles asks everyone around him, including the female doctor Lydia saw in class in the second episode and the old woman Lydia saw in Stiles’ house in the third episode, “Where are we? …Do you know what train this is? Anyone know where this train is going?” But everyone is less than helpful. Every person in this train station is either comatose or catatonic. They all believe they’re really at a train station waiting on a train to who knows where. ![]() When oh so brave Stiles stands up to the Ghost Riders, an (un)friendly familiar face saves his life – Peter Hale (Ian Bohen)! The Ghost Riders took Peter to the train station immediately after he escaped from Eichen House, three months ago. ![]() “I got out of one prison just to get into another one,” Peter says disappointed. Initially, Peter (like everyone else) believes this reality in the train station is real. “Peter, what are you doing here? How are you here?” Stiles asks him. His response is, “What do you mean how am I here? I’m here. We are all here.” Stiles is the only one thinking clearly. Unlike everyone else, Stiles can’t be fooled or made to forget. Stiles and Peter realize the Ghost Riders put them in the train station to ride the storm for all eternity.
